These charging handles are assembled in-house and sometimes the guys get a bit too crazy and start going overboard on the pin pushing tool which is what causes these circular scratch marks on the face of the charging handles.

You might get one that just has a tiny scratch on it or you might get one that is totally beat up.
We basically pick randomly from our scrap bin. (Don’t ask for a super nice one, it’s really random, even if we’re friends on Twitter.)
Only cosmetic blemishes, these are tested to be in fully functioning condition. We do not accept returns or refunds for blemished / scrap items.

While it may look cute, this charging handle is actually designed to give the user a better reach on the handle.
Quick release mounts, scope mounts, etc can eat up a lot of space on the top rail of an AR, so having a wide charging handle helps improve usability.
The angle of our charging handle also serves two purposes:
- Catch the finger as it comes back to grab the handle
- Stay out of the way of snagging on gear and slings
