It doesn’t contain everything. You’re still missing: shears, marker, glowsticks, medical kit pouch, and other medical gear that could help.
But this is a great way to get your kit started with high quality materials.
We strongly recommend having more than 1 tourniquet on your kit.
How Does it Compare to Chinese Tourniquets?
The NAR tourniquet is really a huge step above the chinese tourniquets out there.
However, we do understand that people aren’t willing to spend so much money on a potentially life saving device. So this is the reason that we offer BOTH for sale in our shop.
We have had combat veterans test our Chinese made Tourniquets and reported to us that they could be sufficient for the job. In 2021, we had shipped hundreds of these tourniquets to Poland for supporting the Ukraine war to great effect when there was a massive shortage of medical equipment.

How many Tourniquets Do I Need?
We normally recommend a minimum of 5 tourniquets on each personal kit.
4 Tourniquets for each limb, and 1 extra for a friend.
