No Side Plates
It does not have a side pouch for side plates because many of our product testers do not run side plates anyways, and it helps with easy access for getting in and out. However you can add side plates easily by attaching pouches on the side or using straps (if you really wanted side plates).
The modular design allows molle accessories to be added on the sides.
