Why does it cost so much?
Yes, it is expensive. But we had to do all the work to make this happen because we weren’t able to find anyone else doing exactly this type of fluting + polish + TiCN coating. We had to do it ourselves. As far as we are aware, this is the first time a barrel like this has been offered on the market.
The only way to get the costs lower would be to do high volumes, but for such a specialized part and color, it’s unlikely to happen.
