Our 16″ 223 Wylde barrel has gone through quite a process to get to the point it is currently at.
416 twice stress relieved steel, spiral fluted, sand blasted, polished, and TiN coated! This is not your ordinary AR-15 barrel.

NOTE: FOR BEST ACCURACY
It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to perform the following:
- Step 1: Lap the Upper Receiver
- Step 2: Shim the Barrel with .001 shim
- Step 3: Use Green Loctite Retaining Compound
If you don’t know how to do this, ask your local gunsmith to help with the install.
You may not notice this when installing, but we can assure you that a microscopic amount of play between the barrel extension and upper receiver can have a huge impact on accuracy 100+ yards out.
Achieving a tight fit between the barrel and upper receiver is the key to achieving the highest accuracy possible from this barrel.
We strongly recommend using Green Retaining Compound Loctite and a .001″ Stainless Steel Shim when installing this barrel into any upper receiver.
