For Best Performance

In our experience, the JP Enterprises Adjustable Clamp On Gas Block is really nice.

We usually keep the gas block open anywhere between 32 – 40 clicks (depending if you’re using 223 or 556 ammo).

Recommended Buffer: H2 Buffer + Low Power Flat Recoil Spring

What are the benefits of TiN Coating?

TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating has many great benefits that can enhance the performance and durability of moving parts. In addition to looking really awesome, there are some key features that we believe help enhance the performance of the barrel.

  • Less surface friction, smoother action and should mitigate most feeding issues (which aren’t related to bad magazines or ammo)
  • Easy to clean. Gunk just wipes right off!
  • Reduced wear and tear, increased lifespan
  • High heat and chemical inertness
  • it looks beautiful!

These are just our opinions, but we think that you will find our TiN barrels really enhance the overall experience and appearance of your ARs!

NOTE: FOR BEST ACCURACY

It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to perform the following:

  • Step 1: Lap the Upper Receiver
  • Step 2: Shim the Barrel with .001 shim
  • Step 3: Use Green Loctite Retaining Compound

NOTE: Different upper receivers have different tolerances, so you may not be able to fit this barrel with the shim. In this case, the shim can be skipped.

If you don’t know how to do this, ask your local gunsmith to help with the install.

You may not notice this when installing, but we can assure you that a microscopic amount of play between the barrel extension and upper receiver can have a huge impact on accuracy 100+ yards out.

Achieving a tight fit between the barrel and upper receiver is the key to achieving the highest accuracy possible from this barrel.

We strongly recommend using Green Retaining Compound Loctite and a .001″ Stainless Steel Shim when installing this barrel into any upper receiver.
